Performance Networks announces CCS framework step

Performance Networks, a leading specialist WiFi consultancy, has announced that it has been adopted into the Crown Commercial Services framework for the first time.

The inclusion on G-Cloud means the Nottingham-based company, which recently celebrated hitting a decade in business, has become a Government vetted company and a recognised Digital Marketplace provider within the public sector.

Founded by Will Evans and David Ballard in 2012, Performance Networks has grown to become one of the leading specialist WiFi consultancies in the UK, winning contracts at huge venues, including the iconic Alexandra Palace and the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

The company is also ISO 27001 accredited and recently joined the growing list of global businesses that have signed up to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), an organisation dedicated to tackling the issue of child sexual abuse content and imagery being shared online.

Speaking about joining the Crown Commercial Services framework, Will Evans, a Founder and Director at Performance Networks, said he’s been aspiring to get his business into this position for a number of years. He said:

“This is a huge moment for our company. Over the last few years, we have been putting everything in place – compliance-wise – that would ensure we’d be able to pass what is a stringent vetting process.

We’ve been working within the public sector – particularly education – for a long time now. It’s an area our team is experienced in and joining G-Cloud removes a lot of the red tape, making our products and services far more accessible in a streamlined and safe way for public bodies.

With the threat of cyber attacks growing, there has never been a more important time to ensure our public sector’s online networks are protected and secure. People are no longer working in a standard environment and IT teams are being posed with challenges they’ve never dealt with before. There is an onus on us to help educate and combat these threats.”

Performance Networks has been added to G-Cloud 13 and is in the process of working towards joining additional and future frameworks.

The CCS framework provides policies, advice, and commercial services to the public sector that manages the procurement of common goods and services, allowing organisations with similar needs to achieve value by buying as a single customer.

It also increases savings for taxpayers by centralising buying requirements for common goods and services and bringing together smaller projects.
