At Performance Networks, we’re proud to support an industry that’s continually evolving, and one of the most exciting shifts we’re seeing is the growing influence of women across logistics, supply chain and transport.
Women in Logistics (WiL) is a standout organisation championing this progress. Their mission is simple but powerful: support, connect, and empower women at every stage of their logistics careers.
Why Their Work Matters
Logistics has historically been a male-dominated field, but that landscape is changing fast. WiL is helping drive that change by creating opportunities for women to lead, innovate and thrive.
Their vision is clear, to provide a logistics industry where women have equal representation at all levels, from warehouse floors to boardrooms.
Key Initiatives Making an Impact
WiL’s work spans across the entire professional journey:

Shaping the Future of Logistics
At Performance Networks, we’re delighted that our colleague, Suzanne, has recently joined the Women in Logistics network. As someone deeply involved in helping logistics and warehousing operations overcome digital and connectivity challenges, Suzanne is passionate about the role strong infrastructure plays in empowering teams, supporting more intelligent decision-making and driving operational excellence.
From tackling early bottlenecks in new facilities to improving warehouse network performance for smoother WMS rollouts, she’s seen firsthand how resilient connectivity directly impacts uptime, productivity and safety. Recently, we helped a manufacturer eliminate early-stage network bottlenecks in a brand-new facility, improving uptime, reducing downtime, and preventing delays before the first pallets even arrived, the same type of transformation we delivered at the Huel Manufacturing and Warehouse site in Milton Keynes through data-driven WiFi improvements.
Joining Women in Logistics is an exciting opportunity to connect with other professionals facing similar challenges, whether that’s WMS optimisation, downtime prevention, VLAN design, roaming issues, barcode scanning delays, or enabling better connectivity for frontline teams. Suzanne is looking forward to sharing ideas, learning from others, and contributing to a community that is pushing boundaries and raising standards across the supply chain.
If you’re also part of WiL, or are working through similar infrastructure challenges in your operation, we’d love to exchange insights. Together, we can champion best practices, support diverse leadership, and drive the next generation of innovation across the logistics sector!
