Performance Networks Fundraisers for Forver Stars
At Performance Networks, we want to give back to local communities and causes that are not only important but close to our hearts. So this year, we are proud to announce our latest fundraising initiative in support of Forever Stars, an East Midlands charity dedicated to assisting families affected by stillbirth, infant loss, and perinatal or neonatal death.
About Forever Stars
Founded in 2014 by Michelle and Richard Daniels after the stillbirth of their daughter Emily, Forever Stars has been instrumental in providing emotional support, practical advice, and essential facilities such as private suites for bereaved families.
Forever Stars relies heavily on donations and the support of local organisations and businesses to continue its vital work. The charity has successfully established two bereavement suites in Nottingham, a baby loss remembrance garden at Highfields Park, and a support centre to assist families throughout their bereavement journey.
Derwent Valley Heritage Way Challenge
To contribute to this cause, our challenge was to complete the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, a demanding 55-mile trek completed over two days. Our target was to raise £2000 to aid Forever Stars in their mission to support grieving families through various initiatives, including creating bereavement suites and remembrance gardens.
Our team completed the challenge relatively unscathed, with a few sore and blistered pairs of feet! Thanks to wonderful donations, we have managed to smash our initial £2000 target and raised a huge £3735 for the charity.
