The challenge
The Victoria League is a charitable, independent and non-political organisation that connects people from Commonwealth countries. They offer affordable student accommodation services in London for full time international students from Commonwealth countries. The charity exists purely to welcome and help all members and visitors to the UK. Whether visiting for business, pleasure or study, The Victoria League offers a friendly environment where visitors can meet British people and attend a variety of events to make every stay memorable.
As part of an outstanding facility, the residents and users of The Victoria League need reliable and uninterrupted internet access. The system already in place was old and needed a significant upgrade. The Victoria League felt it owed it to its residents to search the market for the very best provider, and in turn provide a better and more reliable WiFi solution to its residents.
The Victoria League’s WiFi connection was slow, which was causing concern amongst residents. After being let down by another supplier, they contacted Performance Networks to identify the problem and rectify the issue.
Once I contacted Performance Networks after being let down by our initial supplier, they were very helpful. The timescale was fluid, and I do appreciate that there were lots of factors which are out of Performance Networks’ control. The company kept me updated on a regular basis which was helpful. The students living at The Victoria League now have a good, fast, reliable, robust connection. The impact on the students is much more positive.
