What was the issue?

Ragdale Hall, located in the rolling Leicestershire countryside, combines state-of-the-art facilities with the charm of traditional Victorian architecture to create one of the most luxurious and relaxing health spas in the country. To add to this experience, management were looking to provide its guests with WiFi coverage. As Ragdale Hall is a residential spa destination in a rural location, it was facing some challenges in providing this facility.

How was this impacting the business?

Times change, and Ragdale Hall wants to change with them. Although it tries to promote a stay at Ragdale as a time for relaxation, guests were beginning to expect WiFi as a basic requirement. Ragdale Hall had to react in a positive manner, and they turned to Performance Networks.

How did Performance Networks identify the issues?

Performance Networks carried out an extensive survey in order to determine the exact requirements and coverage required by Ragdale Hall. Management were immediately impressed with the professional and knowledgeable approach and the understanding of the business, and all correspondence was accurate and arrived when promised.

What has been the impact on your business after Performance Networks helped the business?

WiFi is now only an issue if it is not available and these occasions have been very few and far between. Access Points are remotely monitored so that Performance Networks can inform management if there is a problem even before they're aware. Guests have a support line to call in case of difficulty.

Ragdale Hall was so impressed with Performance Networks that it also engaged them to replace the entire network infrastructure. With no fibre available locally, Performance Networks was able to get Ragdale Hall a wireless leased line which has taken its bandwidth from 4Mbps to 50Mbps.

How have staff reacted to this?
