Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa is a luxury country hotel located in Gloucestershire, offering 55 elegant bedrooms, a high-end spa, conference facilities, and a popular wedding venue. Known for its relaxing atmosphere and high standards of service, Hatherley Manor places a strong emphasis on guest experience, including fast and reliable WiFi connectivity throughout the hotel.

The Challenge

Hatherley Manor was experiencing frequent guest complaints due to poor WiFi performance and inconsistent coverage throughout the hotel. The existing network had aged significantly and suffered from widespread blackspots, especially in guest rooms and function areas. This directly impacted guest satisfaction, business operations, and overall online reputation.

Our Solution

Performance Networks conducted an in-depth WiFi site survey to identify areas with weak or no signal accurately. Using this insight, we designed a new, hotel-wide WiFi network layout that would deliver full wireless coverage across all rooms and communal areas.

We installed a new Cambium Networks solution, offering enterprise-grade performance without the burden of ongoing licensing fees, a cost-effective option ideal for hospitality environments. This upgrade ensured robust and scalable connectivity throughout the property, significantly enhancing the guest WiFi experience.

To support guest access, we integrated the SupaFi captive portal, which enables guests to log in easily while also allowing the hotel to capture valuable user data for marketing and compliance purposes.
